Cabbage

The Cabbage White (Pieris rapae) is a one of our
Whites found throughout the United States. It was probably brought over
from Europe within plants and has established itself very well here.
The females (seen here) lay their eggs on mustards and garden-variety
vegetable plants. At times the caterpillars may appear to be a pest.
