A rose is a flowering shrub and there are more than a hundred species. They have been special for thousands of years throughout many cultures. It is grown in many different varieties and many different shades. Roses are also used in the manufacturing of perfumes. The colors of roses have significant meanings and the number of roses when given as gifts
is symbolic.
