The Canna Lily (Canna x generalis) is very pretty with bright red flowers held high on dark colored stems. The leaves are deep green with a red edge. Canna lilies are remarkably easy to grow. They prefer sun, but will grow in partial shade. They can be grown in ordinary garden soils, but will need regular watering. These are great flowers for a wet area.
