One
of the oldest weather statements is "red sky at night, sailor's
delight; red sky at morning, sailor take warning."
It comes down from generations of sea faring men whose lives often depended
on weather. More often than not,
the old saying is accurate.
Sunsets whisper goodbye, but they also hold the promise of another opportunity,
another day, another success.
They happen everyday in cities all over the world. Some are spectacular
and some just are.
This spectacular sunset was captured in San Diego as the ferryboat was
bringing us back to the city from Coronado.
It was amazing as the sun lit the windows of the tall buildings making
them look like mirrors. ----------------- Sandy
