The White Tree Nymph (Idea leuconoe) is a large black and white butterfly with a wing span of 3 ¾ to 4 ½ inches.
It prefers coastal mangrove swamps and is found in Thailand Malaysia, Philippines and Taiwan. The White Tree Nymph
does not seem to flutter as other butterflies do. It glides very slowly through the air as if it didn't have a care in the world.
